Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in a theft and fraudulent credit card use investigation after a wallet was lost at a car wash on Lee Highway.
According to CPD, investigators are searching for a white, middle-aged male believed to be connected to the incident. Police are also looking for information about a distinctive white Ford F-150 truck associated with the case.
The vehicle is described as having a non-factory front grille and aftermarket wheels, which investigators believe may help community members recognize it.
CPD’s Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or the truck to provide information by calling 423-698-3333. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
Police are asking anyone with information to reference Case #26-061999 when submitting tips. The department said community assistance can play an important role in helping investigators identify suspects and solve cases.
