Houston, TX –  Texas min was sentenced to life in prison after he previously admitted to killing his former partner several years ago and then disposed of her remains by using engine oil because, according to him, he wanted the victim to pay for allegedly stealing his father’s items. Prosecutors claim the defendant, who has several previous felony convictions, killed his former partner because he believed she had stolen items belonging to his dead father. “My dad was my world, and I would do it again,” the man reportedly told authorities.

The 40-year-old Texas man, Andreas, was sentenced on Monday, court records say. Prosecutors claim the defendant murdered his former partner, 49-year-old MarisoI, in April 2021 by shooting her several times before he dsmembered her body and burned her remans in a bid to destroy the evidence. During the trial, the defendant reportedly admitted to using engine oil to burn the woman’s remains. According to prosecutors, the defendant also stated that he ‘would do it again and again because his dad is his world’. During the trial, the jury was shown two barrels that were found on the defendant’s property and pictures of small fragments of bones that were in the barrels.

Friend of the victim, Roben, testified that they were talking and drinking in a vehicle when he noticed the defendant come toward them with a gun. The witness said he jumped out of the vehicle, but the victim didn’t. The defendant then fired several shots at the victim, killing her. The witness told police he ran away because he was afraid of the defendant. The witness also testified that the defendant threatened him and another witness not to say anything.

The 40-year-old Texas man, who is also a documented gang member, took the woman’s body to his property where he burned the remains using engine oil. During the trial, the defendant reportedly admitted to using a handgun to kill the woman because he believed she had stolen items belonging to his dead father. While the defendant was being interrogated by Texas Ranger Jesse, he admitted to shooting his former partner four times in the face and explained his motive for doing so. “When I see her in hell, I’m going to fry her again. I’d do it in a thousand years. I would do it again and again. Those are his words,” Assistant District Attorney WiIIem told the jury.
