Williamson County, TN – Tennessee Highway Patrol officials said the accident occurred around 12:17 a.m. Wednesday.
It happened on Interstate 65.
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that a vehicle broke down and it did not have its lights on.
Semi-truck then crashed into the back of the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
