Nashville, TN – According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred Friday night.
It happened on Charlotte Avenue.
Police say the 23-year-old victim was racing a pickup truck when someone inside the truck opened fire on his vehicle.
The victim, Miguel Ontiveros III, was struck by gunfire. He then crashed his car.
The 23-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
Metro police say the suspect also crashed and then fled toward I-40.
This incident remains under investigation.
