Clarksville, TN – Authorities have identified the victim who crashed into the Red River early Sunday morning.
He was identified as 44-year-old Juan Salazar.
Authorities believe speed and weather were a factor in this crash.
Police officials said the 44-year-old man was reported missing by family on January 16 around 7 p.m. after he failed to return home.
The responding crews were able to recover a Chevrolet Suburban from the Red River.
The Clarksville Police Department, Clarksville Fire Rescue, Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service and the Montgomery County Rescue Squad worked in conjunction with Jones Brothers Towing and Trucking to recover the victim’s vehicle.
