Knoxville, TN – According to the Knoxville Police Department, the shooting occurred right after 10 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened in the 2800 block of Nichols Avenue.
Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.
Police said the victim suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown at this time.
No suspects have been arrested yet.
