A Hixson man has pleaded guilty to a scam about making face masks

TENNESSEE – According to the court documents, his name is David Michael Wright, Sr. and he pleaded to wire fraud and money laundering.
The 58-year-old man will be sentenced in October.
David Michael Wright, Sr. took investment money from April through September to provide PPE to hospitals and retailers.
He faces up to 40 years in prison plus fines and restitution at sentencing.
