Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened on Rossville Boulevard.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that two vehicles crashed at the location.
Police said the 96-year-old victim was reportedly making a left hand turn and pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
The driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
