Man claims the woman he sold her his tlmepiece disrespected him upon finding the item in her home after she told him that she sold it, only to restrain her, beat her and then kill her; sentenced
Indiana – An Indiana man, later identified as 29-year-old Andreas, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after jury convicted him of multiple charges, including first-degree murder, kidnapping, and robbery in connection with the last year’s death of 41-year-old MicheIIe. Prosecutors say the defendant moved to West Virginia from Indiana with his girIfriend, 32-year-old Ammanda, who is his accomplice and was convicted of first-degree murder. She will be sentenced next week, court records say. The couple moved to West Virginia one month before they killed the 41-year-old woman, court records say.
During the investigation process, authorities learned that the defendant’s girlfriend reportedly knew the victim because she lived in the area several years ago. Days before the murder, the 29-year-old defendant needed money so he decided to sell a watch to the victim, which he intended to get it back in the future. When the defendant realized that the victim posted the watch for sale, he became very upset and went to the woman’s home, demanding that she give him the watch.
The victim declined only for the couple to return to her home days later and be told that she already sold it. When the defendant heard the victim that she sold his tlmepiece, he started beating her before shooting her in the head. The defendant and his accomplice reportedly used handcuffs to restrain the victim. The defendant then beat the woman while his partner searched the home for his tlmepiece. When they reportedly found it and realized that the victim hadn’t sold it, he shot her in the head.
According to the prosecutors, the victim’s body was found 10 hours later by her son. The woman was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. During an interview with investigators, the defendant reportedly admitted to shooting the woman in the head because she showed disrespect. His 32-year-old accomplice told investigators that she was forced by the man to participate in the crime, but authorities discovered that she helped the man evade the authorities after the murder and jail calls revealed that the couple’s plan was for the defendant to take all the blame for the crime and his girlfriend not to be prosecuted.
