Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that left one person dead and two others injured early Sunday morning on Amnicola Highway.

According to police, officers responded at approximately 2:45 a.m. to the 4400 block of Amnicola Highway after receiving reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound. Investigators later learned that two additional victims—an 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman—arrived at local hospitals with gunshot wounds sustained during the same incident.

Police said a large group of people was gathered at the location when the shooting occurred.

The Chattanooga Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to lead the investigation, while the Crime Scene Unit processed the area for evidence.

No suspect information has been released, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
