Chattanooga, TN – According to the statement, it’s the lowest number of new cases reported since 313 new cases reported on June 17, 2020.

There are currently 9,484 active COVID-19 cases in the state, also the lowest number of active cases in Tennessee since June 2020.

The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 19 additional deaths, bringing the state up to 12,276 total deaths.

The state reported 730 people are currently hospitalized in Tennessee due to COVID-19.

The Tennessee Department of Health’s vaccine dashboard shows over 4.3 million vaccinations have been given out so far in Tennessee.
