Coffee County, TN – According to the THP, the fatal crash occurred on Sunday.
It happened on Wattendorf Memorial Hwy at Grady Finney Rd.
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 62-year-old driver of Ram 150 reportedly struck Honda ODY in the rear, crossed the center line and struck southbound Chevrolet HHR.
The 62-year-old driver of Ram 150 suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead.
He was later identified as James Shaw.
The 68-year-old driver of Chevrolet HHR was also pronounced dead.
She was identified as Dorothy Scott.
The 36-year-old passenger of Ram 150 suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
This incident remains under investigation.
