Chattanooga Fire Department crews quickly extinguish vehicle fire at Hixson gas station
Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Fire Department crews quickly responded to and extinguished a vehicle fire at a gas station in Hixson Sunday morning.
At 10:28 a.m. on June 28, 2026, firefighters were dispatched to 5710 Lake Resort Drive after reports of a vehicle fire at the location.
According to the department, Ladder 19 Green Shift arrived and found a vehicle fully involved in fire. The vehicle was located away from the gas pumps and convenience store, helping prevent the fire from spreading to other areas of the property.
Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the flames and brought the situation under control.
The department said there were no injuries reported during the incident.
