Husband walked into the store where his wife worked, stole a beer and drank it outside shortly after killing the woman and removing her head; sentenced

Houston, TX – According to the court documents, the 23-year-old husband, later identified as Jarred, was sentenced to 40 years behind bars after he reportedly killed his wife, Angy, last year. The man reportedly murdered his partner before removing her head and dissmembering her body. Prosecutors say a surveillance video reportedly shows the man, who had just decapltated his wife, calmly walking into the store where she worked, stealing a beer and then drinking it outside.

The 23-year-old husband will not be eligible for parole until 2043, court records say. The defendant was sentenced after pleading guilty to murder. The investigation process began in January last year after officers responded to a disturbance call. The responding officers reportedly found the couple’s home covered in blood.

During an interview with investigators, the 23-year-old husband reportedly admitted to killing his wife. According to the court documents, court-ordered examination revealed that the husband deemed competent to stand trial.

Per reports, the DA’s office and the authorities never publicly revelaed a motive for the murder, though deputies said they had responded to the home before for domestic violence-related calls. Friend of the victim allegedly had told authorities that her new husband was a jealous person.
