Washington, D.C. – According to the police officials, the 64-year-old victim, Regie, was reportedly beaten to death by several underage girls, who reportedly kicked and stomped on the phisicaIIy handlcapped person after he was thrown against a wall and knocked on the ground by an adult man. Police officials said that now, 13-year-old and 15-year-old girl, who were not identified due to their age, were taken into custody and charged with second degree murder. Authorities have not yet identified the adult man who started the fatal assault.
Shortly after the fatal beating, the girls that beat the elderly man to death reportedly took photos of themselves, capturing the assault. The fatal incident occurred in October last year. The responding officers found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Several months later, in March 2024, three girls, ages 12 and two 13, were arrested and charged.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that on the fatal day, the 64-year-old victim, who was handlcapped and missed fingers and suffered from many diseases, was accompanied by a man who reportedly threw the victim against the wall before knocking him on the ground. The girls, who were walking on the street, saw the attacked and asked if they can join before they started kicking and stomping on the victim.
Three suspects were taken into custody earlier this year, and two girls were charged on Thursday. Police officials are still looking for the adult suspect. This incident remains under investigation. This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information becomes available.
