Chattanooga, TN – According to the officials, Collegedale Corporal Enoch Hurd was escorted home on Sunday in a solemn tribute after he tragically lost his life in an off-duty motorcycle accident in North Carolina.
The route was lined with first responders from across the region, including members of the Chattanooga Fire Department, who came together to honor the fallen officer.
As the procession made its way along I-75, firefighters from the Chattanooga Fire Department and Tri-Community Fire Department stood in solidarity on the Exit 9 overpass, paying their respects with a show of unity.
The tribute underscored the bond within the local first responder community, who rallied to show support for Hurd’s family and the Collegedale Police Department.
