According to the court documents, the 25-year-old dad from Tennessee, later identified as Ennoch, was found guilty on first-degree murder (two counts) for killing his baby and the baby’s 32-year-old mom. Last week, judge sentenced the 25-year-old defendant to two life sentences, which will be served one after the other.

Prosecutors say the 25-year-old dad reportedly broke into his baby’s mother’s, Heather, home and stabbed the woman at least 90 times. Then the dad stabbed his 4-month-old baby before he set the home on fire. According tot he court documents, the father reportedly killed his baby and the baby’s mom just 1 day before he was ordered to take paternity test.

In Sept. 2019, first responders arrived at the victim’s home. They found the home covered with smoke. Shortly after their arrival, first responders found the baby and the baby’s mom suffering from severe stab wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

During the investigation process, the victim’s relatives reportedly told investigators that Heather and the baby’s dad were fighting over the child custody. Prosecutors claim the 25-year-old dad wanted to avoid paying child support, so decided to kill his baby and the baby’s mom. Initially, prosecutors wanted to seek the death penalty against the defendant, but later agreed to two consecutive life sentences.
