Houston, TX – According to the police officials, the 18-year-old man, later identified as NathanieI, his 21-year-old girlfriend, later identified as Jasmin, and another juvenile suspect were taken into custody and are now facing capital murder charges after the trio reportedly Iured 20-year-old man, later identified as Cameron, possibly for lndecent favors, only to rob the man and then shoot him to death. After killing the man, who authorities say there were no indications he was involved in prior activity that could have resulted in his murder, the suspects put his body in his vehicle and set the vehicle on fire.

The investigation process began earlier this month after authorities responded to a vehicle fire. Shortly after extinguishing the fire,  the responding officers found the victim’s body in the trunk. The medical examiner told investigators that the victim was shot several times before his body was set on fire. After the victim was identified, authorities made contact with his family members, who reportedly told them that the 20-year-old man was a normal person who liked to play on his gaming console.

During the investigation process, authorities discovered that 18-year-old NathanieI, his girlfriend (SEE PHOTO) and unidentified juvenile were possible suspects for this case. Authorities also discovered that the victim was Iured to the location, possibly for lndecent favors. Just 3 days after the murder, the suspect was arrested following traffic stop. The responding officers reportedly found two stolen weapons in his vehicle. While in custody, the 18-year-old called his family member and reportedly told her to ‘clean their home’, which authorities say it probably means that he wants the alleged murder scene ‘cleaned’ of evidence.

Authorities also executed a search warrant on the suspect’s home and found shell casings and bullets at the residence. Witness, who is reportedly the suspect’s sibling, reportedly told investigators that she heard the trio talking about doing a robbery. She also heard two gunshots and then heard someone saying that ‘they think they killed the guy’. The sister told police she cleaned up casings from the shooting and she threw casings out of her car window. She also said she hid a ladder behind a couch. The 18-year-old man is being held on $2 million bond, while his girlfriend was booked into the county jail with bond set at $1 million.
