The Clarksville Police Department, in collaboration with the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region, is excited to invite the community to the 41st Annual National Night Out event
Clarksville, TN – According to the police officials, scheduled for August 6, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., the event will be held on the Austin Peay State University campus, specifically in the parking lot between the Dunn Center and Fortera Stadium.
National Night Out is a celebrated community-building initiative aimed at fostering police-community partnerships and strengthening neighborhood camaraderie to enhance the safety and overall quality of life in local communities.
The event is designed to improve the relationship between residents and law enforcement, rekindle a sense of community spirit, and provide an opportunity for positive interaction between police officers and citizens.
This year’s event is free and open to the public. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including school supply giveaways, demonstrations, bounce houses, free food, free haircuts, and more. With over 56 vendors participating, there will be plenty of attractions for the whole family.
In addition, the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center will have its mobile clinic on-site, offering health and dental screenings, as well as a limited number of well-child exams.
