40-year-old man killed after crash between motorcycle and vehicle, police say
Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga Police Department officials said the fatal accident occurred around 10:07 p.m. Tuesday night.
It happened on Brainerd Road.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers found one adult male victim.
Police said the 40-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
His identity has not yet been released.
Investigators believe the 40-year-old motorcyclist was heading west when he struck a vehicle that was stopped in the center lane.
No other injuries were reported, police said.
