Chattanooga, TN – According to the state officials, last year’s campaign featured over 150 events, with more than 2,200 volunteers collecting over 86,000 pounds of litter from the state’s roadways.

In collaboration with Keep Tennessee Beautiful (KTnB), Adopt-A-Highway participants, and youth groups including Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, this initiative invites residents to either join existing public events or host their own community cleanups in November.

Groups that collect the most litter will be recognized in four categories: Keep Tennessee Beautiful Affiliate, Adopt-A-Highway Group, Youth Group, and River Group. Participating scout groups will also earn a Nobody Trashes Tennessee patch.

New this year is the Trash Masters Rewards program, designed to encourage individual participation in No Trash November. Participants can earn points for various activities, such as taking a litter quiz, attending cleanup events, and raising awareness.

Throughout November, participants will earn double points for all activities, making it an ideal time to get involved. Points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including discounts at local businesses and exclusive NTT merchandise.

This program offers a fun and engaging way for individuals to contribute to a litter-free Tennessee while being recognized for their environmental commitment.
