North Carolina – A North Carolina man, later identified as 28-year-old lsaac, was ordered to spend the rest of his life in prison after receiving three life terms. Prosecutors claim the defendant killed his girIfriend, 28-year-old Jena, one day after she broke up with the man, and her parents, 61-year-old CharIes and 61-year-old Cindy. 

According to the court documents, the 28-year-old defendant was sentenced on Wednesday after pleading guilty to three counts of first-degree murder. 

The investigation process began in October last year after the victim’s 10-year-old son went to the neigbhor’s home and told them that his grandparents were shot by his mother’s former partner. The responding officers arrived on scene and found three victims, all suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. All victims were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities in North Carolina reported.

Shortly after the initial 911 call, the defendant also called the authorities and reportedly told them that he wanted to turn himself in. During the 911 call, he reportedly admitted to shooting the victims multiple times, claiming that he feels bad for what he did, but doesn’t feel bad for why he did it. He also added that he needs help.

During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the defendant left work that day, drove to the victim’s residence, and initially shot his former girIfriend’s parents. The defendant then put the firearm on the 10-year-old ‘s head, but decided to let him go. The boy, who is the victim’s son and grandson, ran to the neighbors and told them what happened. The unidentified neighbors called 911 immediately. 

Shortly after letting the boy go, the defendant took his former girIfriend outside the home and shot her multiple times, killing her. During the investigation process, authorities in North Carolina discovered that the victim broken off the relationship with the defendant the previous day and revealed that his phone showed him near the scene at the time of the shooting.
