Alabama – According to the court documents, the 49-year-old defendant, later identified as Tonny, was sentenced to nearly 200 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including: kidnapping, r-pe, s-domy and burglary. Prosecutors claim the defendant reportedly abducted much older woman and took her back to his house where he indecently assaulted her before leaving her tied to a chair. The defendant pleaded guilty last month and was sentenced on Friday, court records say.

The investigation process began in July 2022 after the victim, then-75-year-old Bettye, was reported missing by her family members. The family members reportedly arrived at her home only to realize that the woman was not there. Authorities then launched a search and found the woman after nearly 7 hours. The woman was found tied to a chair in the defendant’s cIoset.

During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the elderly woman was returning home when the defendant brandished a knife and told her to get into the trunk of his vehicle. The defendant then drove the much older woman to his house, where he r-ped her several times before leaving her tied to a chair. The defendant fled the scene and was arrested in Kentucky.

Luckily, the woman survived this unfortunate incident and was able to testify against the defendant in court. While addressing the court, the woman reportedly said that the defendant ‘got on top of her and r-ped her several times’. The woman also said that ‘she cried and begged the man to stop’.
