Minneapolis, MN – According to the police officials, the 38-year-old man, later identified as WiIIiam, was arrested and later charged with second-degree murder after he reportedly shot and killed 24-year-old Dejuan last week. Police officials say the much older man shot the victim to death following an argument. Both the victim and the shooter were part of a group when they got involved into a heated argument.

The fatal shooting occurred on Tuesday after the shooter pulled out his handgun and shot the victim after following him around a car. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the victim ran away after he saw the shooter pulling out a handgun and hid behind a parked vehicle. The shooter then followed the victim and shot him from behind. While the victim was on the ground, the shooter approached him and fired two more shots. 

Police officials say the entire incident was caught on surveillance camera. Shortly after, the shooter was arrested and taken into custody. During an interview with investigators, the shooter reportedly said that he was high on drugs when he shot the younger man. In a follow-up interview, the shooter reportedly said that the victim was threatening him and his family members and that he shot him in self-defense. 

In another interview, the shooter reportedly told investigators that he became suspicious of the victim because he was wearing h00die on a nice day, even though he never saw the victim with a gun. During the investigation process, authorities also found the murder weapon in the shooter’s vehicle. Authorities also took another suspect, 27-year-old woman, into custody after she helped the shooter avoid the authorities. This incident remains under investigation.
