Tennessee – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be conducting routine bridge inspections on I-240 in both eastbound and westbound directions, resulting in lane closures during the week of March 24-27. Motorists are advised to plan for possible delays during the following times:
Monday, March 24, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
– 2 lanes closed on I-240 WB between mile markers 16-17
– 1 lane will remain open
Tuesday, March 25, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
– 3 lanes closed on I-240 WB between mile markers 16-17
– Exit 17, Mt. Moriah, closed
– 2 lanes open
Wednesday, March 26, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
– 2 lanes closed on I-240 EB between mile markers 17-16
– 1 lane open
Thursday, March 27, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
– 3 lanes closed on I-240 EB between mile markers 17-16
– Exit 17, Mt. Moriah, closed
– 2 lanes open
All closures and work are weather permitting, and drivers are encouraged to adjust travel plans accordingly.
