Tenn – As pressure continues to mount on frontline workers facing a nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases, the State of Tennessee has expanded its mental health hotline service to another group of essential workers inside the classroom.
The hotline was originally launched back in May and geared toward healthcare workers experiencing anxiety or depression.
As of December 1, the service is now also available to teachers, who for the last few months have experienced some of those same emotions trying to keep themselves and their kids safe.
