Chattanooga, TN – According to the statement, all motorists traveling on Highway 153 across Chickamauga Dam should exercise caution, adhere to travel signs, and anticipate potential delays.
The inspections will be conducted as follows:
- Tuesday, September 17: Northbound lanes will be inspected.
- Wednesday, September 18: Southbound lanes will be inspected.
Work is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days.
During these times, only one lane will be closed at a time to minimize traffic disruption.
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and allow extra travel time to accommodate possible delays.
