TWRA invites youth to submit their original art of native fish for the Tennessee Art of Conservation contest
Tennessee – Youth across Tennessee are encouraged to participate in the Art of Conservation contest, hosted by the national nonprofit Wildlife Forever. The contest aims to engage young people in outdoor conservation by inviting them to submit original artwork of native fish.
The contest is open to all youth ages 5-18. Entries must feature wild fish in their natural habitats, with a preference for species native to Tennessee. Goldfish, guppies, bettas, and koi are not eligible subjects.
Participants must create their artwork entirely on their own, with no reproduction of other artists’ work. While the use of photos, videos, books, and online resources for research is encouraged, the final artwork must be the individual’s original creation.
The artwork must be created in a 2D medium, such as paint, colored pencil, crayon, marker, or collage. Each participant is allowed only one entry, and previous submissions will not be accepted.
For complete rules and submission details, visit the Wildlife Forever Art of Conservation website. The deadline for entries is February 28.
