Las Vegas, NEVADA – According to the court documents, the husband, later identified as 34-year-old Shiiva, was sentenced to 10 to 25 years behind bars for his role in the death of his 28-year-old wife, GwendoIine, last year. Prosecutors said the defendant reached a deal with the DA’s office for second-degree murder.
Per reports, the 34-year-old husband reportedly stabbed his younger wife all over her body, killing her, because she became angry after the 28-year-old woman spent the night at a friend’s house who was intoxicated after a night of drinking According to the court documents, the 34-year-old husband reportedly apologized for his wrongful actions and apologized abouyt the pain he had caused.
He also said that he would ‘gladly exchange places with his wife if he could.’ The fatal incident occurred last year in April. The 911 caller told the dispatcher that he tried killing himself with a knife after he killed his wife. The responding officers reportedly found the unresponsive woman. The 28-year-old suffered severe stab wounds to the abdomen area and throat, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 24-year-old husband suffered multiple stab wounds which appeared to be self-inflicted. During an interview with investigators, the husband reportedly said that he became angry because his wife was intoxicated after spending the night at a friend’s house who was intoxixated.
