Chattanooga Fire Department crews responded to structure fire on Rossville Blvd, no injuries reported
Chattanooga, TN – According to the statement, in the early hours of Saturday morning, at approximately 1:38 AM, fire crews responded to reports of a possible commercial fire at 3714 Rossville Blvd.
Upon arrival, Engine #9 was the first to reach the scene and confirmed a working structure fire.
Additional units, including Engine #1, Squad #1, Ladder #1, Engine #5, Ladder #5, Engine #14, Battalion #1, and Battalion #3, were dispatched to assist in the operation.
Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack, successfully containing the fire to the first floor of the two-story building.
The structure, which was vacant and undergoing renovations, sustained fire damage, but the quick response prevented the flames from spreading further.
Hamilton County EMS and Chattanooga Police Department also provided assistance at the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
