Kentucky – Kentucky woman, 40-year-old Ammanda, was ordered to spend more than a decade behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including facilitation of murder and illegally permitting a minor to possess a gun in connection with last years’ incident which left 23-year-old man dead. The defendant was one of the four famiIy members who were sentenced in connection with the fatal shooting that left 23-year-old Setth dead. The defendant’s 18-year-old son, Jackle, who fired the fatal shot, was sentenced to spend the next three decades behind bars. 

According to the court documents, the fatal shooting occurred following a dispute between the defendant’s son, Xavion, and his former girlfriend, who was dating the victim at the time of the shooting. During the investigation process, authorities learned that the defendant drove her children, two sons and two daughters, to the location so they could fight her son’s former girlfriend and other people at the location, local news outlet WCPO reported.

When the family members arrived on scene, the defendant’s son, who was minor at the time of the incident, fired several shots in the air and towards the victim, striking him. The vicim was rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. During the sentencing, the defendant reportedly admitted to driving her children and encouraged the fight. She reportedly said that she was driving her children  to what she called a “girl fight”.

The victim’s family said that their son ‘was an innocent victim in this. The victim’s dad reportedly said that his son didn’t know this man and he didn’t know anybody in that family. The victim happened to be in the car with his girlfriend when she got the call that they were on their way, the man reportedly said. “All over nothing. It’s over a girl fight, the girls didn’t even fight they ran and shot my kid,” the victim’s dad reportedly said.
