CPD hosts training session on recognizing and responding to human trafficking
Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department recently partnered with the University of Tennessee’s Law Enforcement Innovation Center to host a specialized training session focused on human trafficking awareness and response.
The training aimed to equip officers with skills to identify signs of human trafficking and effectively assist victims.
Participants learned about recognizing behavioral and situational indicators while ensuring a compassionate and supportive approach when engaging with potential victims.
