Chattanooga announces resurfacing and construction schedule for multiple locations from Feb. 24-28, with lane closures and detours expected
Chattanooga, TN – The City of Chattanooga Department of Public Works, in conjunction with contract crews, has scheduled resurfacing at the following locations from Monday, Feb. 24 through Friday, Feb. 28, weather permitting:
- Wilder Road from Grubb Rd to Wilder Valley Ln
- Wilder Valley Ln from Wilder Rd to the cul-de-sac
- August Dr from Cloverdale Cir to Cloverdale Dr
- Donovan Ln from Towne Hills Dr to the cul-de-sac
- Hillbrook Ln from Towne Hills Dr to the cul-de-sac
- Locust Ln from Towne Hills Dr to the cul-de-sac
- Towne Hills Dr from Winding Ln to the cul-de-sac
- Towne Hills Ln from Towne Hills Dr to the cul-de-sac
- Branch Dr from Sandswitch Rd to the cul-de-sac
- Branchwood Cir from Branch Dr(E) to Branch Dr(W)
- Glade View Ln from Branchwood Cir to the cul-de-sac
Single-lane closures will occur, with two-way traffic maintained by flagging. Driveways and intersections may briefly close while crews mill and resurface. The schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change without notice.

N Moore Road: Contract crews will adjust manholes ahead of scheduled paving, requiring lane closures and lane shifts, although full closures are not expected.

Wilcox Blvd at Greenwood Road: This intersection will close to all traffic on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for paving and resurfacing by city crews. Detours will be posted via Tunnel Blvd, Shallowford Road, Oak Street, and Glenwood Drive. Drivers should plan for additional travel time due to anticipated traffic congestion.

1704 Hixson Pike: Emergency work on behalf of Chattanooga Gas will involve single-lane closures and lane shifts in both directions through Feb. 28, weather permitting.

3107 Amnicola Hwy: The right, eastbound lane in the 3100 block of Amnicola Hwy will close on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for work on behalf of EPB.
