Los Angeles, CA – According to the police officials, the 30-year-old man, later identified as Huangtang, was arrested upon his return from Washington last week and later charged with multiple charges, including murder, kidnapping, arson and burglary. The man reportedly killed his buslness associate by shooting him in the head. He then drove to the victim’s family home only to kill the victim’s spouse. The 30-year-old defendant then drove both bodies to a remote area and burned them. 

The couple, 37-year-old Jing and 37-year-old KuanIun, were killed last month, police officials said. The victim’s family member called the defendant and asked him about the victims after not hearing from them. The defendant reportedly told the unidentified family member that both victims never showed up for a business trip to New York City. According to the family member, the defendant reportedly told them that the business trip was about meeting with a new associate who could give the victim the money the defendant owed him, but the victims’ family were not aware of such trip.

According to the police officials, the family member reportedly checked the victim’s surveillance footage and noticed that it was the defendant. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that on the fatal day, both the victim and the defendant were discussing about the money the defendant owed to the victim. Then, the defendant shot the victim in the head, killing him, before putting his body in the victim’s vehicle. The defendant then drove to the victim’s family home where he kidnapped the victim’s wife.

The defendant then drove the woman, after beating her with a hammer, to a remote area where he shot her to death and then burned her body. The defendant then drove both victims’ vehicles to different areas and also burned them. After destroying the evidence, the man  returned to the couple’s home and stole Iuxury watches, handbags, shoes and clothing. The 30-year-old man is being held without bond, court records say. His next court hearing is scheduled for December 2, 2024.
