SOUTH CAROLINA – According to the police officials, the mom and dad, later identified as ApriI and James, were taken into custody last month and later charged with multiple charges, including human trafficking after they reportedly ‘sold’ their 14-year-old child to a 67-year-old man.
During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that April and James reportedly forced their young daughter, who was not identified due to her age, to travel in a different county when the 67-year-old man requested. The 67-year-old’s name was redacted from the police report.
Police officials released a statement, saying that the mom and dad reportedly brought their 14-year-old daughter whenever the 67-year-old would ask. Police officials also discovered that the 14-year-old child reportedly knew the much older man because she dated his son.
The unfortunate victim reportedly told her parents that she didn’t want to go at the old man’s home, but her dad reportedly told her that she will go every time the 67-year-old would ask. When the parents brought their child at the 67-year-old man’s house, he would give them $20.
Authorities reportedly discovered that the parents reportedly made nearly $1,500 from bringing their dauhgter to the much older man. Another suspect, later identified as WiIIem, was also taken into custody after authorities discovered that he also used the ‘parents’ offer to traffic their 14-year-old child’. WiIIem was charged with se-ual conduct with a minor.
