CHATTANOOGA, Tenn – Channel 3 is happy to report that the telethon for the 36th annual Share Your Christmas™ food drive on #GivingTuesday surpassed its fundraising goal, thanks to donations from our viewers and various organizations in the Tennessee Valley.
The original goal was $40,000. The total raised so far stands at $40,500 and that does not include online donations made through Facebook.
All of the money will go to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, which will be able to provide about 15 million meals to people in the Tennessee Valley.
The Channel 3 Eyewitness News team would like to say thank you to all of you for donating to this cause!
