The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus hosted an interpreted response to an active shooter response drill attended by the Chattanooga Fire Department
Chattanooga, TN – According to the officials, the drill included participation from the Chattanooga Police Department, Hamilton County EMS, Hamilton County 911, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, UTC Police, and other nearby emergency agencies.
This comprehensive exercise brought together emergency responders and volunteers to enhance coordination and preparedness for active shooter scenarios.
The collaborative effort aimed to improve the effectiveness of responses to such critical incidents, ensuring the safety and security of the campus and surrounding community.
The Chattanooga Fire Department expressed gratitude for the support and involvement of community partners and organizations that contributed to the success of this important drill.
