Chattanooga, TN – According to the state officials, the Women’s Therapeutic Residential Center held graduation ceremonies for 23 incarcerated women who completed post-secondary education programs.

Eight women earned computer information technology certificates from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.

Five women were awarded associate degrees in business administration from Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC), and eight received liberal arts certificates from Rhodes College.

The Tennessee Department of Correction partners with 12 colleges and universities to offer a variety of degree programs, including vocational certificates, associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees.
