Florida – A Florida man was ordered to serve eighteen years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including se-ual battery regarding a person 12 to 19 years of age. The defendant, later identified as 34-year-old Robbert, reached a plea deal with prosecutors and has been designated as a se-ual predator by a court order, court records say. The 34-year-old defendant was sentenced after entering a guilty plea last week, court records say.
Prosecutors said the defendant reportedly admitted to forcing himself on a mlnor, 13, before he made the child take a contraceptive medication. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the defendant bought the medication at a local pharmacy. Authorities in Florida launched an investigation after an adult, who was not identified, reported the incident. The adult was reportedly close to the 13-year-old child.
During an interview with investigators, the unidentified witness reportedly said that the child was very quiet for the last couple days. During a conversation with the adult, the child reportedly told them that the 34-year-old defendant se-ually assaulted her.

Additionally, the defendant’s GPS monitor that he wore for probation revealed his location at the pharmacy around the incident date. At the store, law enforcement officers collected video footage of the defendant purchasing the contraceptive medication.
During an interview with investigators, the defendant initially denied the assault before agreeing to take the plea deal, the DA’s office reported.
