Chattanooga, TN – According to the officials, the fire crews responded to a house fire off North Orchard Knob Avenue as they began their 24-hour shift.

Crews arrived at the 1700 block of Jackson Street to find a working structure fire.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack, conducted a search of the residence, and established a water supply.

Due to unsafe conditions in the reportedly vacant property, personnel were later removed from the structure.

The fire was brought under control, and crews moved into salvage and overhaul operations.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Multiple units responded to the scene, including Engine 5, Ladder 5, Squad 1, Engine 4, Engine 10, Battalion 1, and Battalion 3.
