Chattanooga, TN – According to the statement, Chattanooga Police Department’s Sergeant Worlie Johnson and Officer Bruce Wilson scored significant victories at the recent Guns and Hoses event, a competitive fundraising initiative that pitted local law enforcement against firefighters.

Held this past Friday, the event brought together community members to raise critical funds for two important causes: the Forgotten Child Fund and the YMCA’s Y-CAP program.

The Forgotten Child Fund helps underprivileged children in the community experience the joy of Christmas with gifts they may not otherwise receive.

The YMCA’s Y-CAP program, targeting youth ages 10 to 15, focuses on early intervention and crime prevention, offering guidance and mentorship to encourage positive life choices.

Both Johnson and Wilson earned hard-fought wins, which drew strong support from the audience and highlighted the impact of these community programs.

The Chattanooga Police Department thanked all attendees for their support, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts to make a difference in the lives of local children and families.
