Florida – Florida man is behind bars and is now charged with multiple charges, including premeditated first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with his parent’s death. Authorities say the defendant, 36-year-old RusseII, was taken into custody last week for killing his own parent at her home before calling 911 three days later. During the 911 call, the defendant reportedly told the dispatcher that ‘there is a dead body at his home and that he put his parent down’.

The responding officers entered the home only to find the woman’s body covered with blanket. The woman’s body appeared to be in the decomposition process and during the investigation process, authorities discovered that the son killed the 54-year-old woman, Shambrey, three days before he called 911.

During the investigation process, authorities discovered that a surveillance camera captured the whole incident. In the video, the 36-year-old son can be seen throwing the much older woman on the floor after grabbing her from behind. Then, the man can be seen punching the woman in the head and face with closed fists. The defendant then wrapped his hands around the woman’s neck and began to strangulate the woman. Moments later, while the woman was lying on the floor, the defendant went outside only to come back seconds later, carrying a cement block. In the video, the defendant can be seen throwing the block down on his mother’s head several times.

During the investigation process, authorities learned that the defendant previously threatened and hit the woman the woman with bras knuckles. The victim’s daughter told investigators that she called her brother that morning and asked about her mom. The defendant reportedly told the woman that ‘their mom is fine and he took care of everything’.

During the investigation process, investigators also discovered that the victim recently inherited a large amount of money after her parent passed away. According to witnesses, the woman reportedly planned on leaving some portion to her son in the event of her own death. The 36-year-old defendant, who is being held without bond, reportedly told authorities that ‘he lives a normal free life now till he gets what belongs to him, his trust fund’ and ‘it’s ‘his constitutional right for Iethal injection’.
