Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
It happened in the 3000 block of Dee Drive.
The responding officers discovered the victim was outside when he was approached by two people.
Authorities said both suspects, 18-year-old Timothy Appleberry and 15-year-old (who was not named), produced firearms and demanded the victim’s property.
The 18-year-old victim refused and the suspects shot him.
The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police said that both suspects are now charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery.
