Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department officials said the robbery occurred around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened at the Gateway Credit Union on Otis Smith Drive.
Clarksville Police Department officers responded to a report of a robbery.
The responding officers discovered that the suspect pulled a handgun on clerks and took money from the drawers.
The suspect then fled the scene before the officers arrived.
Clarksville Police Department officials say the suspect is a black man. He was wearing a black beanie, black neck gaiter and a red flannel shirt.
