Nashville, TN – According to the police officials, the 18-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday.

His name is David Clark and he is now charged with criminal homicide.

Metro Police said Clark is charged for the Wednesday fatal shooting of 33-year-old Heather Probst.

The 18-year-old suspect reportedly admitted to shooting the victim during an argument.

The responding officers reportedly recovered the gun used in the murder.

A neighbor found Probst dead from a gunshot wound to her head at 2:35 a.m.

The victim’s infant daughter was asleep in a nearby bedroom and was unharmed, Metro Police said.
