Knoxville, TN – Police officials said the 32-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday.
His name is Santino Robinson and he is now charged with second degree murder.
Robinson reportedly shot and killed 61-year-old Jeffery Evans.
The fatal shooting occurred on Feb. 20 at the Vista Apartments.
The responding officers found the 61-year-old victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he later died.
The 32-year-old suspect was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia when he was arrested.
