Nashville, TN – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred on Friday.
It happened on Gallatin Pike North.
Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that Chevrolet S-10 was pulling out of a driveway on Gallatin Pike North when the vehicle was struck by Honda Civic.
The 30-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where she later died.
She was later identified as Alexandra Lloyd.
The 34-year-old driver of the Chevrolet S-10, Jeremy Mooneyhan, suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The responding officers reportedly found needles, two doses of Narcan and drug kit with white powder.
The 34-year-old was released from hospital and charged with driving under intoxication, simple possession, simple possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license and proof of financial responsibility.
The 18-year-old driver of the Honda Civic, Felix Perez-Morente, was charged with consumption of alcohol under 21, aggravated assault by reckless conduct with the use of a deadly weapon, vehicular homicide by intoxication, proof of financial responsibility, and not having a driver’s license.
