Illinois – Two Illinois men were sentenced to nearly five decades behind bars after they were convicted of murder last year. According to the court documents, 31-year-old EIijah was ordered to serve 45 years behind bars, while his younger brother, later identified as 28-year-old Toni (SEE PHOTO), was ordered to serve 47 years behind bars. Both defendants were sentenced for the murder of 76-year-old Vasideva. 

During the investigation process, authorities in Illinois discovered that both defendants, who were related, killed their Iandlord after owning him money for housing. They reportedly called the man and told him that they a Ieak in their apartment before 31-year-old EIijah killed him by strangIing him to death.

In August 2018, they Iured the victim to the apartment with the intention of robbing him, telling him that they a problem. When the victim entered the home, one of the brothers strangIed him to death.

Both defendants then placed the victim’s body in a vehicle for one day before they threw it in a sewer. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the defendants searched on the internet “how long it takes a body to decompose in sewer water.”
