Chattanooga, TN – According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 11 p.m. Friday night.
It happened in the 6300 block of Wimberly Drive.
Chattanooga Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said the 41-year-old victim suffered non life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
He told investigators that he was outside, heard gunshots and then realized he had been struck.
