Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened on I-24 near the Ridgecut.
Authorities believe the 73-year-old man stopped his vehicle and was trying to cross the interstate to reach another vehicle.
Dodge Ram struck the 73-year-old man while he was crossing.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
